Degree
To obtain a master’s degree students must:
- be enrolled as a regular student, within the deadlines set by the program;
- have completed at least thirty (30) credits, of which six (06) correspond to the dissertation;
- have obtained at least 7.0 (seven) as a final grade;
- be proficient in a foreign language in accordance with the requirements of the course;
- have passed the Submission Qualification Exam, when required by the course;
- have had the dissertation approved by the board, within 24 months from the entrance;
- have delivered the coordination of the program the required number of printed copies of the final version of the dissertation within the time specified by the coordination;
- have submitted to the Provost Office of Research and Graduate a copy of the minutes of the dissertation defense and proof of delivery of 01 (one) digital copy of the dissertation at the Library of Universidade Federal do Ceará.
To obtain a doctoral degree the student must:
- be enrolled as a regular student, within the deadlines set by the program;
- have completed at least sixty (60) credits, of which twelve (12) correspond to the thesis;
- have obtained at least 7.0 (seven) as a final grade;
- be proficient in at least a foreign language in accordance with the requirements of the course;
- have passed the Submission Qualification Exam;
- have had the thesis approved by the board, within 48 months from the entrance;
- have delivered the coordination of the program the required number of printed copies of the final version of the thesis within the time specified by the coordination;
- have submitted to the Provost Office of Research and Graduate a copy of the minutes of the thesis defense and proof of delivery of 01 (one) digital copy of the thesis at the Library of Universidade Federal do Ceará.
